Formagrind manufacture precision machined electronic packages and heat sinks for applications in Aerospace / Defence / Space and Telecommunications.

These components, in many cases extremely complicated, are machined under strict quality controlled conditions and if requested under additional SPC.

Materials worked with include: Kovar, Copper tungsten, Aluminium and Titanium. We also machine Osprey Controlled Expansion alloys as a sub-contractor to Sandvik Osprey or directly under contract to our customers.

Under tightly controlled conditions, we arrange for a wide range of platings like Nickel and Gold. Other operations can also be arranged upon request in conjunction with our partner companies.

Typical orders range from rapid turnaround prototypes to long term support contracts.
